TEF piloted the agroecology training for schools and communities to support school lunch program in 55 schools from 4 provinces. Chiangmai, Prathumthani, Sakon Nakorn and Phannga in 2018 with supports from The Field Alliance and the National Health Promotion Fund.  Organic farmers and school gardens supply the produce for school lunch while local health workers and schools using test kits to test the ingredients and disseminate information to public.  The project received collaborations and full supports from local communities, education, agriculture, health agencies as well as districts and provincial levels.  The project has paved ways for local national school lunch policies and further expansion in coming years.
